I photographed Natalie and Ryan’s amazing wedding at Rocking H Ranch near Tampa in Lakeland Florida on the last day of February this year. I’m admittedly slow at getting weddings on the blog! While I make sure to deliver everything to my clients on time, I just have not made my own time for blogging weddings the last few months because they take me so long to put together for the website. They require a good chunk of hours since I want to share every detail, all my favorite moments, all my favorite portraits, links to every vendor…. and you get it. But, I’m SO happy to be sharing this today because this wedding was truly an all time favorite. I’m in love with Rocking H Ranch and Angela Higginbottham (do you know she and her husband even attended Natalie and Ryan’s Greek Orthodox 2nd ceremony in Melbourne that Sunday?) Of course Natalie and Ryan – such genuinely good people, and the beauty of every detail -but even more so the meaning behind every detail, the family relationships, the timeline that was never rushed but moved the day along with gentle nudges, and such a fun evening for everyone involved. Even every vendor I worked alongside was not just amazingly talented but super friendly. Every element that makes a great wedding day came together for Natalie and Ryan and I have no doubt that Laura Helm of Ashton Events had a LOT to do with that. And because in my experience this is quite rare, I’m also going to assume there was a divine touch – somewhere underneath everything else.
See the bottom of this post for a list of vendors.
Natalie dressed in the bridal suite at Rocking H Ranch with the help of her bridesmaids and when she was ready, enjoyed some very special moments with her mother and father.
Natalie was so stunning and her Allure Gown so beautiful that I really could have posted an entire string of bridals.
Ashton Events even designed the wedding stationery suite, complete with a hand drawing by John Hooge of the oak tree Natalie and Ryan were married under.
Guests began arriving to a calm and beautiful sitting area… and a vintage (this vehicle is a true antique) car dropped Natalie and her dad off at the ceremony site. So awesome.
Every detail was not just gorgeous but a true reflection of the bride and groom. They even received these feathers (incorporated into the floral arrangements by Events in Bloom) from a friend who gathered them while hunting!
Love these two.
More gorgeousness everywhere we looked and Natalie and Ryan even brought me a bottle of this Bird Dog Peach Whiskey after the wedding when they came in for Opening Night -good stuff!
Every time I see Greek dancing at a wedding I decide that I should have been Greek. Natalie is actually Egyptian, but a member of the Greek Orthodox church and she’s got some serious dancing skills!
Ryan built this swing and gave it to the ranch. Yep, Seriously.
Phase 5 was fabulous. This band kept the party going late into the night.
Puff n’ Stuff catering served an amazing dinner and also provided the fabulous wedding cake. I sat down for a few minutes with a martini glass full of the most heavenly mac and cheese EVER. A mac and cheese station exists in heaven.
Okay listen. The Poor Porker is a food truck based in Lakeland that serves various types of gourmet beignets. Maple Bacon Beignets to be specific. That is all.
Natalie and Ryan, what a perfect beginning to a beautiful life together.
Many thanks for choosing Angel Gray Photography to capture your day. It was a true pleasure.
