Gaylord Palms | Royal Crest Room Wedding } Michelle and Charles!

I LOVE Michelle and Charles! I loved their engagement session, I loved the time we spent at the Gaylord Palms Hotel, I loved the Royal Crest Room and their beautiful ceremony site and I loved watching everyone have a blast at the reception.  I am more and more thankful in my life for clients like Michelle and Charles. They are fun, kind, gracious and just a pure joy to be around. That kind of atmosphere is a gift, as it allows me to enjoy not only my work as a photographer but the experience of capturing THEM, their moments, thier life, their memories. I hope that makes sense. It’s not that there are any bad clients but I notice more and more often how many awesome ones there are! I would do back flips to work with Michelle and Charles again ya know?

Since I explained a bit about how they met on their engagement post I won’t go too far into that here.  Michelle and Charles had their rehearsal dinner festivities at the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Orlando. It was beautiful all decked out for the holidays with the enormous Christmas tree in the atrium!  The photography began while they each finished up their preparations.  Michelle and Charles decided to go with a “first look” as it just fit their day best and also gave them the opportunity to have a special moment together when they saw each other for the first time. It also provided the opportunity to shoot some of their portraits at the Gaylord before we moved on to the Royal Crest Room nearby in St. Cloud. Good times!

Michelle was just stunning and Charles (on fire as well don’t get me wrong) was such a gentleman. I could tell that he will continue to keep Michelle feeling like a queen for the rest of their lives together.

Sullivans Jewelers Melbourne – I know this Jeweler personally too – excellent choice!

LOVE the hanger! Brides remember to have something nice to hang your dress on- even if it is a simple wooden one! Michelle found her perfect (Allure) dress and bridesmaids dresses at L.A. Bridal in Viera.

Her hair was beautiful and unique – so Marilyn-esque

I think it was my favorite first look ever. Guys, this is how it’s done. I know we all have our ways of digesting special moments. I just loved Charles inability to contain himself.  He simply couldn’t handle it and even walked over to give Michelle’s mom a hug. It was like the way a guy acts when his team just won a championship. But better. Keep it up Charles!

After capturing some sweetness, some fierceness and some fun at the Gaylord we moved on to the Royal Crest Room and beat the odds against the weather for some awesome pre-ceremony shots!

I’m not saying you should skip the florist (note Michelle still had some beautiful centerpieces inside) but seriously if I had it to do over, I’d have brooch bouquets.

pitter. patter. amen.

Michelle was super happy with her airbrush makeup, she said it was so lightweight yet stayed on all day (even through some weather!)

As usual, DJ Shane offers beautiful lighting (important!!) and just an all around awesome party for your reception – Latin Lou was a blast!

Stuck on what to do for favors? The guests LOVED these caricatures and Rafael is such a nice guy too, I highly recommend his services, link at the bottom….

Um yeah so these guys had some moves.

The paper lanterns were beautiful, and adventurous to say the least! Big big congratulations to Michelle and Charles! Michelle I’m so glad you’ll be in the February workshop so we can hang out more!
