Sammy and Jeff had an amazing wedding at the Crowne Plaza Oceanfront. It was a beautiful day full of love, family, happiness and romance. Perfect weather was a blessing but I have a feeling the warmth was coming from Jeff, Sammy and their guests as much as it was shining down on them. Gorgeous seaside colors, fun details and personal touches were everywhere – icing on the cake!
It’s a pleasure to work with awesome people. I know I say that a lot but let me explain… Shooting weddings requires creativity, attention to detail and technical expertise while keeping to a tight schedule (not the easiest of combinations!) I do a lot of planning ahead with my clients to set the stage for everything to run smoothly but when the people I’m shooting put their trust in me and are a joy to work with it’s like putting the last piece of the puzzle in place and suddenly the big picture comes into view. And it’s beautiful.
Seriously I love Sammy and Jeff and I especially loved their wedding because they have such wonderful family and friends too! I pretty much adore them all and just might crash Christmas morning – or at least Columbus Day. I had the pleasure of shooting Sammy’s brother’s wedding (Colby and Davy) in March so there were lots of familiar faces – love that! I’ve also had the opportunity to get to know Sammy’s mom through not just the weddings but her attendance in my Conquer Your Camera workshop and private lessons. She’s sooo sweet!
If you haven’t gotten to know Sammy and Jeff – who they are and how they met – check the engagement session out!
What better way to capture beautiful images full of love and happiness than to have so much of it surrounding the couple that you just. can’t. miss it.
Congratulations Sammy and Jeff and many blessings on your life together!

Sammy’s mom made her veil, flowers were amazing by Link at Eau Gallie Florist and how cute is that groomsmen gift? A cool backpack filled with all kinds of guy stuff!
Stunning bride right? This Thanksgiving I’m thankful veils are back.
Sueann’s worked some magic on these peanut butter banana cupcakes! I had one before I left that night and may or may not have stopped by the bakery a few times the following week hoping they had these in the case. (And they didn’t.) Then Sammy and Keile surprised me with 6 of them after I mentioned how good they were! I shared quickly to avoid inhaling all half dozen by myself… Dana loved them of course and when I dropped two off to my parents they said it was the best cupake they ever tasted! Then I pretty much ate the rest. Since one of my kids has a peanut allergy it was in everyone’s best interest. Sacrificial love.
The dance floor was on fire and they wrapped it up late-night-taco-bar-style.
Sammy and Jeff – congrats!
