Cocoa Beach Wedding and Yacht Club Reception | Ruth and Jonathan

I’m excited to share Jonathan and Ruth’s wedding today! Blogging had to take a back seat last week- just so many orders to fulfill and of course shooting as well!  I got together with these guys last Sunday for their Opening Night event. We like to offer newlyweds a special environment to see their wedding images in for the first time.  So, at the studio, the entire wedding day flashes moment by moment on the big screen with close friends and family there to relive the day with. No choosing, no ordering, just fun!  Of course everything is also provided in an online gallery after that so sharing and album planning are easy to do.

Ruth and Jonathan were married at the First United Methodist Church in Cocoa Beach FL. With an 11am ceremony, we started the day off pret-ty early!  The couple wanted to have a “First Look” time at the Beach Place Guesthouses where they were preparing that morning, enabling them to enjoy the surroundings for their portraits together before leaving for the church and Eau Gallie Yacht Club reception.  I love how these turned out and hope you will too. To get to know Ruth and Jonathan more, hop on over to the engagement session post!

It’s been a year now since my brother started assisting me on some weddings.  I’ve also been training him as a second shooter and I must say, the kid’s got skills!  Okay so now that he’s 30 I probably can’t call him a kid anymore.   In a nutshell I’m glad he can take time away from his weekend and hang with his sister, who can be a little bossy sometimes… I’m thinking “Top 10 reasons your little brother is a perfect choice for 2nd shooter/assistant” would be a really fun future post!

Devon shot the images on the left and right here above, great job right?

I’m in love with this one of Ruth and her dad. Also a shout out to Link at Eau Gallie Florist – always amazing.

The good times rolled with the Buzz Catz at the Eau Gallie Yacht club… More beautiful flowers by Eau Gallie Florist and the wedding cake: Sue Anns Bakery

Props to my bro again: above, bottom right side.

I’m a huge fan of classic cars anyway, but this Cadillac was amazing!

Ruth and Jonathan escaped the heat in Canada for their honeymoon and had a great time! Congratulations again to the happy couple!

Side notes this week: Conquer Your Camera Class has openings available

The Senior contest with Downtown Divas is underway, enter or vote now!

We have only 8 sessions left available in 2012.  These are mostly in November.

I love the Olympics but I am in serious SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE withdrawal… Please send Cat Deeley, she gives the best hugs no matter how sweaty people are. Not that I’m sweaty.
