I met the Hicks family at Ryckman Park for family portraits. Leah has taken my conquer your camera workshop so it was fun to meet her family! I loved the colors, especially the little blue dress on her daughter (who stole the show but what little girl doesn’t steal the show?) We had great weather and captured some very sweet memories. The nice thing about scheduling your family portrait session in the spring is that you are all set when it comes to the holidays and you aren’t scrambling around for a holiday card at the last minute. I have several families right now who have either just had their family session (can’t wait to share the Crovo’s with you at the marina!) or they are about to (Ryals family, holla!) These guys are smart! I can’t schedule everyone into October and I have a November 15th cutoff for holiday orders. (Also, that can be a very windy time of year around here, not quite as nice as the spring.) Not only that but it just takes one thing off your list of things to do when the holidays approach. Christmas cards done before the fall? Awesome! Just don’t lose them. Maybe I should just keep them in a safe place until you’re ready.
P.S. you can’t really do this with kids younger than 3 years old. They just change too much in 6mths! But for the rest of you…. plan ahead!
LOVE
Wouldn’t you love something like this series on canvas on your wall? I would!
very cool family pic, this one has my vote for the Christmas card!
Lollies compliments of me! Don’t all kids who are good for their photoshoot get sugar afterward? What kind of world would this be if they didn’t?
(I asked mom first bc I’m a mom and I know you ask first before handing out candy!)
