The Whitlow family is SUPER sweet! Also, they have amazing gardens and even chickens in their back yard -how cool is that?! They wanted to have a session dedicated totally to the children, with a family session planned for the Spring. That is really smart because with three children it’s nice to have time dedicated to them. I’ve found that during a family session you can shoot for about an hour and a half before the kids (and adults too) are tired. So, including more than two children and you are slicing that time up quite a bit between individuals, siblings together, family, candid time, etc. This way we can dedicate the next session to family portraits, relationships, mom and dad, moments between children and parents -you get the idea!
So for this session we met at their home and took the very short trip to the beach. These kiddos have some major personality and enough energy to power the planet I believe! I love that they were comfortable enough with me to really have fun during the session. The baby of the family just happens to be a girl; she calls her two older brothers “my boys.” (oh. my. gosh. that is cute.) Little girls tend to have more interest in the camera than boys so combine that with her being the youngest and you’ve got the star of the show -enjoy!
Thanks to the Whitlow family for trusting Angel Gray Photography with these precious memories!!
Sidenotes: I’m starting to feel better today but now my Mary has caught the bug! Let’s hope it doesn’t spread through the family because I seriously don’t have time for this! Off to Vero this afternoon to shoot a family there that I’ve been working with yearly for a long time, every time they vacation to FL from Seattle. It’s so fun to see them grow and change. Also this Friday is the art walk in downtown Eau Gallie! There is a valentines theme and as long as we are all well I’ll be there walking around with my family. I know I should open the studio but I can’t resist all the other galleries and the fun family time -hope to see you there!
