SO HAPPY (clever right?) to be posting the top SIX entries for the most recent Conquer Your Camera Challenge (Volume TWO, Theme HAPPINESS.) I know it can be difficult to put something creative out there so I hope you’re very proud of yourselves for doing that and if you hesitated to join the challenge this time please consider sending something in for the next one. It’s truly all about the many benefits found in the process for you and such a great way to practice the skills you’ve learned.
Since EVERY entry I received was great, I actually had to call in help! Kristi Webb (AGP Extraordinaire) and Jen Bravo (excellent Tampa Photographer) helped me to narrow these down by sending in their picks for the finalists. At least two out of the three of us chose each of these images.
I don’t want anyone feeling discouraged if they weren’t in the finals but to feel challenged to rise to the top next time! One thing I love about this contest is that since it is limited to Conquer Your Camera Alumni, the playing field is fairly even, giving everyone the opportunity to win!
When I picked these images, I looked closely at these things:
THEME EXPOSURE FOCUS COMPOSITION CREATIVITY CONTEST-GUIDELINES
SO HERE’S HOW YOU VOTE (it’s super easy!)
Comment below explaining which image you are voting for and why it’s your favorite. Please use the designated number to describe the image.
Only vote once per person; ANYONE can vote. Kind words only please.
We will accept votes through Friday August 2nd at midnight and will announce the winning image the next day! Soon after this, we’ll publish a post here from the photographer including back story and technical aspects so we can all learn! Plus don’t forget the winner receives a $50 gift certificate to B & H Photo!

UPDATE: CONGRATULATIONS TO IMAGE “4 GIRL!” What a great shot; we’ll be sending out your prize this week! I can’t thank everyone enough who submitted work, voted and shared about the images they chose. I love that we were able to spread happiness with these photographs! The participation has been so terrific that we’ll definitely be looking forward to the next challenge (and the next workshop dates announced soon too!) Coming up: a post from Challenge TWO’s winning photographer on the story behind the shot!
