I always say that one of the best parts of my job (like maybe THE best) is walking with my clients through all of life’s great moments. Developing that relationship with people enriches so much the images I’m able to capture. So, I was very happy to hear that Chris and Jennifer, whose wedding I photographed, were expecting little Lucy and wanted to schedule newborn portraits.
Because I know Lucy’s parents, I could see right away how she has her dad’s dark wavy hair and her mom’s face. It’s the sweetest thing meeting these brand new tiny people and knowing even a little about who they came from. Lucy is such a snuggly round baby and I think the only newborn lately who arrived right around her due date so I guess she might be punctual one day!
