It is always a pleasure to work with friends so when Jason registered for the Conquer Your Camera workshop last year I was excited. We went to school together from kindergarten to graduation! From what I can remember in elementary school at least, we were both trouble. I hadn’t seen him in a very long time, so it was fun to catch up on all the latest. Then he told me that his wife was pregnant and they were expecting their first child! I was flattered that they wanted me to photograph the maternity, newborn and baby plan even though they live in Fort Lauderdale. So, we shot maternity while they were up here for a baby shower and of course I went down to Fort Lauderdale for the newborn session. I can’t even begin to explain how nice this family is! Jo is the mamma in case you are confused and she is awesome. They are so kind and hospitable that I felt more like a guest in their home than their photographer. They even sent me home with an obscenely large basket of Godiva Chocolate. I sometimes combine maternity with newborn for the blog when the season is very busy and also I think it is pretty fun to see the oven and the bun in the same post. Enjoy -Joseph will show up here again at 4mths!
Joseph definitely preferred the swaddle – see his little “peace out”? So cute.
To the J crew: Looking forward to seeing you next time!!
Sidenotes: I’ve made it to January on the blog! I swear it is going to catch up to real time eventually! Up next is Jonathan and Ruth’s engagement session! The CYC workshop this past weekend was awesome -looking forward to the February class! Session booking update: 5 available dates between now and April 1.
Shout out to Erika and Mark who had a baby girl today – can’t wait to meet her!
