It’s Christmas Eve today and I’ve had the last several days off to shop, bake, wrap, watch movies and enjoy my family. Kristi and I closed AGP on the 19th in order to make this happen for both of us and we are so thankful for our awesome clients *YOU* who help to make this possible!
For me this year has been better than years past when the watching movies hardly happened, baking was more of a pain than a joy and the wrapping (all of it) happened at 2am on 12/24. I think it has a little bit to do with things at work coming together better, also my kids are getting bigger which makes life a little easier and I decided this year to close my ears to the supposed-to’s. I disagree that shopping on the 20th is last minute so instead of feeling stress over that, I (mostly) enjoyed it (especially the 15 minute mall massage AhHHHH.) Public service announcement: shopping on the 24th is last minute, duh. And I don’t think I need to live up to Pinterest. And I don’t have to make it to every holiday festivity. And to put it in a nutshell, I think that if you aren’t going to enjoy it or help someone else by doing it than you should skip it. And be happy that you did. And cut yourself some slack. Amen.
So Kristi and I want to wish you a Merry Christmas today and a belated Happy Hanukkah to our clients who celebrated earlier this month! You guys make AGP happen. You provide the memories we capture and you give the encouragement that inspires us to keep doing the very best work, providing the very best service and striving to improve AGP year after year. I can’t wait to see what 2014 holds!
Of course Kristi designed our family card this year (and her own) and I’ve included them below to share with you. This first one is the front of my card (the back is shown at the top.) See you next year!
Sidenotes: AGP will remain closed until January 2. In the meantime I’ll be posting the last few blog entries for 2013 and working on a few remaining orders, finishing some projects at home (you should SEE the mess in our play room which I’m assuming is about to get worse before it gets better,) shooting a beautiful wedding on the 28th and starting my personal and business goal planning for 2014. Everything else is on hold until January and email/phone responses will be slower than usual. Thanks for your understanding!
